Oceania Handball Nations Cup

The handball Ozeanienmeisterschaft ( officially: Oceania Handball Nations Cup ) is a competition in handball, the ( OCHF ) will be held for men since 2004 in straight, for women since 2007 in odd years from oceanic Handball Federation. In the tournament the Oceania champions will be determined under the oceanic Handball national teams.

In contrast to the other continental championships, the Ozeanienmeisterschaft was under the aegis of the now defunct OHF no qualifying tournament for the World Handball Championships, as well as teams participated in it, the only associate members of the OHF, but members of the World Federation IHF were not, and are not therefore could qualify for the World Cup. A separate World Cup qualifier was played before the Ozeanienmeisterschaft among the five full members of the OHF. Since the new association OCHF has übernomment the organization, the tournament is again the same as the World Cup qualifiers

The first two Ozeanienmeisterschaften the men were held in Sydney in 2004 and 2006. Both times the hosts won the tournament.

The first Women's Championship was held in May 2007 in Auckland and was won by New Caledonia.
