Octave Feuillet

Octave Feuillet ( born August 10, 1821 in Saint- Lô, † December 28, 1890 in Paris) was a French writer. He has written both novels and dramatic pieces. In 1845 he had with the play Un bourgeois de Rome ( a Roman citizen ) his first success. 1855 his play Péril en la Demeure was ( imminent danger ) at the Comédie - Française before Napoléon III. and his family played. In 1862 he was elected to the Académie française. In 1868 he was appointed librarian of the Palace of Fontainebleau.
