Ogiński family
Oginski ( lit. Oginskiai ) was a Polish- Lithuanian noble family, led protracted disputes with the home Sapieha, from which Charles XII. Great of Sweden took advantage.
The most well-known representative of the family are:
- Gregor Anton Oginski (1654-1709), Count, Great Hetman of Lithuania
- Michael Casimir Oginski (1731-1799), Count, Great Hetman of Lithuania.
- Michael Cleophas Oginski, the nephew of the last, (1765-1833), member of the Reichstag, envoy extraordinary in Holland, Grand Treasurer.
