Oklahoma City Blazers (CHL, 1965-1977 )

The Oklahoma State Fair Arena (short: State Fair Arena ) is a multi-purpose hall in the city of Oklahoma City of the U.S. state of Oklahoma. Opened in 1965 the building is owned by the city, is part of the Oklahoma State Fair Park and is nicknamed The Big House. It offers depending on the event up to 10,944 seats. At the opening of the hall was named James Norick State Fair Arena; after the then mayor of Oklahoma City.

The Oklahoma State Fair Arena, after the Oklahoma City Arena and Cox Convention Center, the third largest indoor arena of the city. From 1965 to 1977, the arena was home to the Oklahoma City Blazers of the Central Hockey League. In addition, in the hall guest appearances the state high school basketball playoffs. Today the Arena is primarily used for rodeos, horse shows and other equestrian events.

2005 Oklahoma State Fair Park has been renovated with its buildings.
