Okrouhlička

Okrouhlická, 1945 Šejdorf, 1945-1946 Svahov ( German village Scheibel, Scheibel also village) is a village in the Czech Republic. It is located eight kilometers south of Havlíčkův Brod and belongs to Okres Havlíčkův Brod.

Geography

Okrouhlická located in the Bohemian- Moravian Highlands in the valley of the brook Žabinec. To the northeast, the Bouchnerův rises Kopec (521 m) and to the east of the Květnovský Kopec (542 m)

Neighboring towns are Lipa, Hladový Mlýn, U Kostelíka and Sucha on the north, Květnov and Skřivánek in the east, Na Vysočině and Pozovice the southeast, Studénka in the south, Chyska and Úhořilka the southwest, Kochánov in the west and Lipský Dvorek and Malá Lipa in the northwest.

History

The first mention of Scheiblisdorff took place in 1307 as part of a plot exchange between Henry of Lichtenburg and the monastery Vilémov. Scheibl Dorff belonged from 1411 to rule Schrittenz in Czaslauer circle. Subsequently, the village was referred to as Sseydorf, Sseybdorff and Ssajbldorff. Together with the Good Lerchenhof Scheibel village was connected to the 1685 rule Pollerskirchen. 1793 sold Leopold Fučikovský of Grunhof the goodness Lerchenhof with Scheibel village on the Kuttenberger local citizens, Jan Antonín Rychlý. By Scheibel village leads up to the middle of the 18th century the road from Prague to Vienna, so that there were in the village of respite for the teamsters. The new emperor road then led east through flower village and Lerch field Scheibel village over a straight path of Deutschbrod after mating.

After the abolition of patrimonial Scheibel village formed with Lerchenhof 1850 a municipality in the district Deutschbrod. At the end of the 19th century, the village name was rendered as Šejdorf into Czech and since the beginning of the 20th century lived in the village exclusively Czechs. After the end of World War II Šejdorf was renamed Svahov correspond to the suggestion of a local teacher. As early as 1946 was the change of the official name in Okrouhlická. Between 1976 and 1990 Okrouhlická was incorporated to Štoky.
