Olaf Backasch ( born October 4, 1965 in ironworks city) was football player for steel ironworks town in the GDR Oberliga and for Tennis Borussia Berlin in the Bundesliga 2.

Backasch began his career as a football player in 1972 in the children's team in the Sports Association (ESR ) steel ironworks city.
