Olaf Dreßel

Olaf Dressel ( born September 19, 1968 in Bochum ) is a German former football player.

In the seven years of his career he played for VfL Bochum and brought it to 82 missions in Bundesliga games and five matches of the DFB Cup. Although he was not used, its greatest success was the participation in the DFB Cup Final 1988. He came in the first Cup main round, on 28 August 1987, in a 0-0 draw after extra time at VfB Oldenburg and was used twice in the Bundesliga Serie 1987 / 88 used. After several serious injuries he had already quit with 25 years of his career. With the B- youth Dressel won on July 14, 1985, coach Erich Schiller and teammate Thorsten Legat with a 3-0 victory against Kickers Offenbach German football championship of the B- juniors. From VfL youth division of the amateur team he played high in the league.

Olaf Dressel is now in the media industry working as a publishing director "Marketing and Events " at PROKOM publisher, inter alia, the newspaper RevierSport appears. He regularly supports the tradition of the club VfL Bochum.
