Olaf Dufseth

Olaf Dufseth ( born December 19, 1917 in Vang, † 22 September 2009 in Rena ) was a Norwegian skier.

Career

Olaf Dufseth who lived in Rena, in 1947 won silver in the individual the combination behind Simon Slåttvik at the Norwegian Nordic Ski Championships. The following year he participated in the Olympic Winter Games in 1948 in St. Moritz in two different Nordic disciplines participate. In Nordic Combined Dufseth was at a Finnish double victory by Heikki Hasu and Martti Huhtala roller and thus by Eilert Dahl on the sixth second best Norwegian. In cross-country skiing over 18 kilometers of the Norwegians reached the 18th place. In the same year Dufseth won again bronze medal at the Norwegian championships.
