Eilert Dahl

Eilert Dahl ( born September 15, 1919 in Oslo, † 3 November 2004 Hønefoss ) was a Norwegian skier who was active in cross-country skiing and Nordic combined.

Career

Dahl, who started for Fossekallen IL, won at the Norwegian Championships in 1946 in Drammen, Mjøndalen and Alvdal silver behind Ottar Gjermundshaug in individual Nordic combined.

Two years later at the Olympic Winter Games in 1948 in St. Moritz, he raced in the combination and cross-country skiing. In individual over 18 km, it drove than 27 of the world's top behind but showed in the combination of his skills and finished sixth.

In the Nordic World Ski Championships 1950 in Lake Placid, he won jointly with Martin Stokken, Björn Kristian and Henry Hermansen in the 4x10km relay cross-country skiing in the bronze medal.
