Olaf Hytten

Olaf Hytten ( March 3, 1888 in Glasgow, Scotland, † March 11, 1955 in Los Angeles, California, United States) was a Scottish theater and film actor.

Life

Olaf Hytten left in 1921, the English theater stage to star in movies. On Broadway, he had a role in the play Whitewashed 1924. With its hamster -like facial features and his high voice Hytten played to 1955 in over 300 film and television productions. His films were numerous classics, in which he played but mostly only minor supporting roles and often no credit. Determined he was on roles of British Butlers, officer or aristocrats. He died at the age of 67 in his car of a heart attack in the parking lot of 20th Century Fox Studios.
