Olavi Rove

Antero Olavi Rove ( born July 29, 1915 in Helsinki, † May 22 1966 ibid; formerly Olavi Rove Antero Grönfelt ) was a Finnish gymnast and Olympic champion.

He took in 1948 at the age of 32 years for the first time in the Olympic Games in London, where he was awarded the gold medal in the team all-around and jumping in the horse finished second behind compatriot Paavo Aaltonen.

At the Summer Olympics in Helsinki in 1952, he reached the third place in the team all-around.
