Old Catholic Church in Italy

The Chiesa Cattolica Italiana Vetero dell'Unione di Utrecht ( Italian Old Catholic Church of the Utrecht Union), which must be distinguished from the " Chiesa Cattolica Italiana Vetero - " and the " Chiesa Cattolica Vetero - Indipendente in Europe", parishes in Rome, Milan, Sabaudia, Reggio Calabria as well as smaller communities in some other places in Italy with a total of about 300 believers.

It is under the jurisdiction of a delegate of the International Bishops Conference (IBC ) of the Utrecht Union of Old Catholic Churches. Since 1 January 2008, Bishop Fritz -René Müller is responsible for the Old Catholic communities in Italy as a delegate. 2011, the jurisdiction was terminated.
