Old Melbourne Gaol

The Old Melbourne Gaol is a museum and former prison in Melbourne in Victoria, Australia. It was the site of 135 executions, and has hosted some of the most notorious criminals of Victoria, including the famous highwayman Ned Kelly. The prison was closed in 1924. Today, the Old Melbourne Gaol is a glimpse into prison life during the 19th century.
