Old Trafford (Greater Manchester)

Old Trafford is an area of ​​Stretford in Greater Manchester, England, directly south-west of the city center of Manchester. The intersection of the two old sites outline the borders of the region.

Old Trafford is the site of two major sporting venues; Old Trafford Football Stadium and Old Trafford Cricket Ground ( home of Manchester United and Lancashire County Cricket Club ). The stadiums are at both ends of Warwick Road, two parts of it are called Brian Statham Way (formerly Warwick Road) and Sir Matt Busby Way ( formerly Warwick Road North ). The interconnected street retains the name Warwick Road, and the southern portion on the other side of the Metrolink line is called Warwick Road South.
