Ole Hallesby

Ole Kristian Hallesby (* August 5, 1879 in Aremark, † November 22, 1961 in Oslo) was a Norwegian revivalist preacher and Professor of Systematic Theology in Oslo, the beyond the borders of Norway became widely known. He comes from a farming family.

As a professed Christian, he was imprisoned from 1943 to 1945 in the concentration camp Grini. He participated in the Norwegian revivalist movement and pioneered a Christian school program.
