Ole Rasmussen (footballer born 1952)

Ole Bo Rasmussen ( born March 19, 1952 Amager ) is a former Danish football player and coach.

Career

Rasmussen began his career in 1971 with Næstved IF. After four seasons on Zealand, he moved to Germany to Hertha BSC. His debut at the " Old Lady " he announced in January 1976. He came up with the Hertha twice in the DFB Cup Final and in 1978 was third in the German Bundesliga. 1980 rose from the Berlin and Rasmussen moved back home to Odense BK. After three years in the homeland he returned in the German capital and was involved in the revival. 1983, the club was relegated again, and the Dane played one more year in the 2nd Bundesliga, before he signed in his parent club Næstved IF 1984. Rasmussen finished his career in 1986.

Internationally, he played 41 times for Denmark and scored one goal. He participated in the 1984 European Championship in France, where Denmark was eliminated in the semifinals.

From 1996 to 1998 Rasmussen was coach at Næstved BK.
