Olga Krivosheyeva

Olga Yuryevna Kriwoschejewa (Russian Ольга Юрьевна Кривошеева; born May 15, 1961 in Novosibirsk ) is a former Soviet volleyball national team. Besides Irina Kirillowa she was the outstanding setter of the 1980s.

Kriwoschejewa won the gold medal at the 1988 Seoul Olympics and gold at the European Championships in 1985 in the Netherlands. Overall, she completed 264 caps for the Soviet selection.

With the Schwerin SC 1995 she won the German championship title on the side of Sylvia Roll, Hanka Pachale and Ute Steppin. In 1996, she ended her professional career in the Bundesliga, playing in 1997 for the TV Wetzlar, with the promotion to the Bundesliga, but what the club had to withdraw for financial reasons. Previously, she played among others ADK at Alma -Ata, Vakifbank Ankara and VC Pavlodar.

Kriwoschejewa lives with her family in Wetzlar and works as a teacher and volleyball coach.
