Olga Mykytenko

Olga Mykytenko (Ukrainian Ольга Микитенко ) (* June 24, 1974 in Zhytomyr ) is a Ukrainian opera singer (soprano ).

Life and work

Woman Mykytenko studied at the National Music Academy of Ukraine Peter Tchaikovsky with Galina Suhorukowa. She has won numerous important competitions (2nd prize and special prize at the Francisco Vinas Competition in Barcelona in 1997, Grand Prix at the Maria Callas Competition in Athens in 1997 and first prize at the Queen Sonja Competition in Oslo 2003).

She had committed her stage debut there in 1995 at the National Opera in Kiev, and from 1995 to 2003 as a soloist. She was invited in Kiev for the duo with Renato Bruson Concert and Jose Carreras.

From 2008 to 2013, it was engaged at the Aalto Theatre in Essen music.

Olga Mykytenko guest appearances since 2001 regularly to the leading European and American opera houses and concert halls, such as in Rome, New York (Metropolitan Opera), Barcelona, Berlin ( German Opera ), Bavarian State Opera German Opera on the Rhine, Royal Opera House (Stockholm), Hamburg State Opera, Cologne, Brussels, Lisbon, St. Petersburg, Toulouse, Salzburg ( Large Festspielhaus ), Montpellier, Lyon.
