Oliver James (actor)

Oliver James ( born June 1, 1980 in Ottershaw, Surrey as James Oliver Hudson ) is a British musician, songwriter and actor. In Germany it is mainly for his performances in the films Raise Your Voice - Your Dream, (2004) with Hilary Duff and What a Girl Wants ( 2003) with Amanda Bynes known liver.

Life and career

James attended the Guildford School of Acting in Surrey. In March 2003, he moved to Los Angeles, California to pursue a film career. In the same year, he starred in his first film, What a Girl Wants.

Prior to his time as an actor, James was a member of a boy band, which was managed by the former manager of the Spice Girls, Simon Fuller. For his role in What a Girl Wants, he learned to play the guitar and took the songs for the soundtrack Long Time Coming and Greatest Story Ever Told on.

His work as a musician has produced, among others, the two hits The Distance and Half Life.

Personal

James is in July 2006 in a relationship with Bianca Brown.
