Olivia Cole

Olivia Cole ( * November 26, 1942 in Memphis, Tennessee ) is an American actress and Emmy Award- winner.

Cole played the lead role in the 1979 four-part The White House, back entrance. In 1987, she played the female slave Maum Sally in North and South. For this role, Cole received the 1987 Emmy ( Outstanding Single Performance by a Supporting Actress in a Comedy or Drama Series).

After several roles in numerous television series and several movies Cole retired in 1995. As of 2007, Cole took over again individual roles.
