Olivia Goldsmith

Olivia Goldsmith ( born January 1, 1949 in Dumont (New Jersey) as Randy Goldfield, † January 15, 2004 Manhattan) was an American writer.

Life

The writer was born in Dumont, New Jersey as Randy Goldfield and graduated from the University of New York. She first worked as a consultant and was one of the first female partner of Booz Allen Hamilton, before she started her career as a writer.

Olivia Goldsmith died on 15 January 2004 at Lenox Hill Hospital in Manhattan from the effects of plastic surgery. In anesthesia, which was required for the operation, she suffered a heart attack. Already on January 7, she had fallen into a coma from which she never awoke and died.
