Olympianus of Byzantium

Olympianus († 198) was eleven years bishop of Byzantium; his tenure is dated to the years 187-198.

During his tenure, the city that had been on the side of the Pescennius Niger in the second year of four emperors, was deprived of his victorious rival Septimius Severus in 196 their freedoms and slammed the province of Thrace.

Successor of Olympianus was Marcus I.
