Olympus OM-D E-M5

The Olympus OM- D E-M5 is a mirrorless system camera for the Micro Four Thirds system. It is available since March 2012 at the European trade.

Description

The name and appearance of the first camera, the OM -D series are based on the developed 1972-2002 OM- series of Olympus. However, the OM- series consisted of only cameras with 35 mm film, the OM- D system is based completely on the other hand, digital technology.

The E-M5 is the first camera of this system of Olympus which is equipped with a permanently installed electronic viewfinder, and it is also dustproof and splashproof. Although the camera does not use any additional sensors sharpness, it focuses using the CMOS image sensor very quickly.

Awards

In April 2012 Digital Photography Review of the OM- D EM -5 conferred a Gold Award, and she won the test in the system camera test of the magazine Chip.
