Omar Bravo

Omar Bravo Tordecillas ( born March 4, 1980 in Los Mochis, Sinaloa ) is a Mexican football player.

It is used as a midfielder or as a striker and played between 2001 and 2008 with Chivas de Guadalajara before he joined Deportivo La Coruña in the summer of 2008. In 2009, he was loaned to Tigres UANL. In summer 2010 he moved after just one year to Sporting Kansas City in the MLS.

Club

Omar Bravo comes from the youth of Chivas, his debut in the senior team, he celebrated on 17 February 2001 against UANL Tigres. During the Apertura 2002 he became a regular player and scored six goals in 15 games.

National

Bravo played in the youth team of Mexico and was called to good performance in the Mexican national soccer team. At the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, he was employed as a striker and scored two goals. Bravo was used in the FIFA World Cup 2006 several times. To the 3-1 win against Iran, he contributed two goals and was then "Man of the match " award. In the match against Portugal, he missed a penalty.
