Omarska

Omarska is a town in the municipality of Prijedor in western Bosnia and Herzegovina. The place is located south Kozaračko Mountains in the northwest of the Republika Srpska.

Omarska was known internationally during the Bosnian war because of several prison camp in the village and the surrounding area.

The prison camps were disbanded after international pressure.
