OmniPop

OmniPop is a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet that can be classified based on the results of autosomal DNA analysis of human populations. OmniPop was developed by Brian Burrit, San Diego Police Department, for forensic DNA analysis of Y- STR markers of different ethnicities. With status quo July 23, 2010 this application took into account population data of 219 scientific publications.

OmniPop is recognized by the U.S. federal agency National Institute of Standards and Technology ( NIST), where it is made ​​freely available with the aim of autosomal markers by cluster analysis in conjunction to set each other.
