Ondřej Šourek (2010)

Ondřej Šourek ( born April 26, 1983 in Ledeč nad Sázavou ) is a Czech football player.

Club career

Ondřej Šourek played in his youth for Kovofinis Ledeč nad Sázavou and Slovan Havlíčkův Brod. At age 13, he moved to FC Highlands Jihlava. There, he completed as A teenager his first games in the men's area. He had from the second division season 2002/ 03 a regular place. In June 2005, the defender with his team celebrated promotion to the Gambrinus League, in which they could stay but only one year. Šourek came on 24 Erstligaeinsätze.

In summer 2007, after lengthy negotiations Šourek moved to Slavia Prague. There, the defender however, could hardly prevail, July 1, 2008, he joined the Slovakian first division MŠK Žilina. For the 2011/12 season, he joined the Polish Erstligaaufsteiger Podbeskidzie Bielsko- Biala. In early July 2012, he moved to his former club FC Highlands Jihlava.
