One Africa Television

The TV One Africa Television ( short One Africa), is the first and only commercially operated private television station in Namibia.

Founded by private investors in 2005, One Africa is today a company of Telkom Media from South Africa and Namibian two groups of investors.

One Africa sends a full program of international and locally produced shows, news and cultural programs. There is also from 1 November 2009 a cooperation with the South African station e - tv on, among other things, the delivery of shipments.

Cover and Technology

Originally One Africa could only be received in Windhoek, Rehoboth and Okahandja. Since 2007, however, the reception is in other parts of the country (including Outjo, Keetmanshoop ) been realized. One day Africa in 2009 reached approximately 500,000 viewers in all major towns and cities in Namibia. The reception is available both via satellite and through terrestrial means 29 transmitters.
