Opatów

Opatów [ ɔpatuf ] ( Yiddish: Apt, Apt ) is a town in Poland, in the Province of the Holy Cross. On the outskirts of town is the seat of the homonymous Opatówka powiat Opatowski and the urban and rural community. Its population is 6,800.

Tourist attractions include the collegiate church of St. Martin in the 12th century, a Franciscan monastery from the 15th century, a city gate from the 16th century, a synagogue dating from the 17th century and other buildings.
