Opeka Manor

The Opeka Castle (Croatian: Dvorac Opeka ) is located in northern Croatia, in the town of Vinica, about 15 kilometers west of the city of Varaždin.

It is surrounded by large and abundant Arboretum, which was founded in 1860 by Marko Earl of Elles Bomb. The castle itself was built in the second half of the 17th century in the Baroque style. His former owners were members of the famous Croatian noble family Keglević.

The owners of the castle were later the Earl of Nadasty, Draskovic Trakošćan and already mentioned Bomb Elles ( 1945 ).

Today Opeka is bad, weathered state, waiting for restoration.
