Technology

In the development of the vehicle ( Cd value 0.22 ) and a low total weight special attention was paid to a low air resistance. The body was therefore given a flat and smooth lines and consists largely of carbon- fiber reinforced plastics. The machine is driven by an electric motor which is powered by lithium -ion batteries. These enable a range of approximately 60 km. When the batteries a 1.4-liter engine is switched on, charges the batteries by generator again. In this way, a range of about 500 km can be achieved. The average fuel consumption is then up to about 1.6 liters per 100 kilometers. The CO2 emissions are less than 40 g / km. With the Flextreme can be a top speed of 200 km / h.
