openCanvas

Open canvas is an image processing and drawing software, which is specialized in digital painting and drawing on the computer.

The program is distributed with a decision taken at Japanese user interface and also in an English version (as of September 2007).

Distribution

The program was distributed up to version 1.1 - b72 as freeware. In addition to the free downloadable trial version on the manufacturer's website, the program must be purchased with Version 4.5 functionality in two different circumferences.

Functions

The development was aimed from the ground up from that open canvas is a tool for drawing on the computer, so it is far less extensive than professionally used on the features software like Adobe Photoshop and Corel Painter, and thus due to the relatively low system requirements even on less powerful systems available.

Until the last freeware version 1.1b72 was a Paint chat component integral part of the software, but this feature was removed with version 2.
