Openclipart

The Open Clip Art Library is a free clipart library. Anyone can contribute their own clipart or existing search, download and use. All works are in the public domain, may therefore be used and changed at will.

The used file format is standardized by the W3C Scalable Vector Graphics format ( SVG).

The project was launched in early 2004 by Inkscape developers Jon Phillips and Bryce Harrington to collect flag icons for the software. It thus followed the example of previous similar undertaking for the parent project Sodipodi. It performed very well and the goal was expanded. The " Open Clip Art Library 2.0" using the created for the project Aiki Framework instead of the previously used software ccHost.
