Opera IX
Opera IX is an Italian metal band which was founded in 1988 in Biella of Ossian ( guitar).
From 1992 to 2001 Cadaveria was the singer of the band. She founded the band after their exit Cadaveria and Madras became the new singer of the band. This left the band but after one album ( Maleventum ) and was replaced by M The Bard.
Style
During their first demos were a mixture of Death, Doom and Black Metal, the band later played Dark Metal. Their lyrics deal with Celtic mythology, magic and paganism. Characteristic of the first three albums of the band are extremely complex, unusually long pieces.
