Oracle Forms

Oracle Forms is a development tool by Oracle and allows WYSIWYG creation and programming of database -based, interactive dialogue masks. In addition to the Oracle database, various other SQL databases are supported; the programming is done in PL / SQL or Java (imported Java classes ). Forms was repeatedly revised since the first appearance of the end of 1980. In the current version 11, the web-based 3 -tier architecture is solely supported. For productive operation of Forms applications, the Oracle WebLogic Server requirement ( in earlier versions of Forms this was the Oracle Application Server). Some products of Oracle Applications product family use Forms for the realization of the dialog screens.
