Order of Kinabalu
The Most Illustrious Order of Kinabalu, Malaysian Darjah Yang Amat Mulia Kinabalu ( engl The Most Exalted Order of Kinabalu ) is an Order of Merit of the Malaysian state of Sabah, which was created in 1963 by an Act of Parliament and be awarded the today those creditable to the State services have been established.

Award

The motto of the Order is Sabah Maju Jaya ( engl: forward, emerging Sabah ).
Hierarchy
The Yang di - Pertua Negeri Sabah ( the ceremonial head of state of Sabah ) is the patron of the Order, and at the same time a member of the First Degree. The Chancellor of the Order is selected by the Yang di - Pertua Negeri from among the members of First Degree.
The Order is divided into four grades:
First grade - Sri Panglima Darjah Kinabalu ( SPDK )
The first degree is the Great Knight's Cross ( Knight Grand Cross of the Order of Kinabalu ), whose support the salutation Datuk Seri Panglima entitled and authorized to this item prefixing their name. Their wives Datin Seri Panglima bear the title. The first degree is limited to a maximum of 150 backing, other than honorary members. Title holders may also cause the abbreviation SPDK behind their name.
Second Grade - Panglima Gemilang Darjah Kinabalu ( PGDK )
The second level is the Grand Commander ( Knight Commander of the Order of Kinabalu ), whose support the salutation Datuk entitled and authorized to this item prefixing their name. Their wives bear the title Datin. The second degree is limited to a maximum of 950 backing, other than honorary members. Title holders may also cause the abbreviation PGDK behind their name.
Third and Fourth Grade
The third degree is Ahli Setia Darjah Kinabalu ( ASDK ), the fourth degree is with Ahli Darjah Kinabalu (ADK ) titled. The award of these two levels is not connected to any title.
Medals of the Order
The lowest level of the awards is also connected with no title.
- Setia Bintang Kinabalu ( BSK) First Class, literally loyalty services Star
- Bintang Kinabalu (BK ) Second class, literally Star of Kinabalu
- Certificate of Honour (CH), Diploma of Honour
