Order of the Cross of Terra Mariana

The Order of the land - Marie Cross ( Estonian: Maarjamaa Risti teenetemärk ) is a state decoration of the Republic of Estonia, which is given to foreign citizens for outstanding contributions to the Republic of Estonia. The Order was introduced in 1995 in honor of the independence of Estonia. The Order of the Marie - country Cross is awarded by the Estonian President.

Categories

The Order of the Marie - country Cross is awarded in six categories:

  • The special category: Collar of the Order of the Cross - Country Marie
  • Five basic categories: Order of the Cross - Country Marie the 1st to 5th category

The individual categories differ only in the bands on which the Order is attached. The Order itself has in all categories of the same size and the same style. In the categories 1 to 3, there is a version for female dignitaries, which is equipped with a narrower band.
