Order of the White Star
The Order of the white star ( Estonian: Valgetähe teenetemärk ) is a national award in Estonia, which is awarded to civilians.
Foundation
The Order was introduced on 7 October 1936 by the Estonian state and head of government Konstantin Pats to celebrate the " freedom struggle " of the Estonian population. The Order of the White Star is awarded by the Estonian President of Estonian and foreign citizens for civil or governmental merits of the Estonian state.
Categories
The Order of the White Star is awarded in seven categories:

- Five basic stages: Order of the White Star Category 1, Category 2, Category 3, Category 4, Category 5
- Medal: Medal of the Order of the white star
