Ordnance Island, Bermuda

, Sometimes called Ordnance Iceland also Ordinance Iceland is a very small island in the northeast of Bermuda. The island is located in St. George 's Harbour, not forty yards off the southern coast ( in the amount of the marketplace King's Square ) of the Bermudan town of Saint George's, with which it is now connected by a small bridge.

The approximately 160 meters long and 39 meters wide island is artificial: Tiny islands in the bay (Duck Stool Iceland, Iceland and Frazer 's Gallows Iceland ) were connected by Sandaufschüttungen.

Ordnance Iceland once served as a storage facility for military equipment and later as a submarine base of the U.S. Navy and is now primarily only as an investor for cruise ships.

The island belongs to the field of ( district-free ) town of Saint George's, and therefore belongs - like this - not for the Saint George's Parish.
