Ore ska band

Ore Ska Band ( japオレ スカ バンド, Ore. suka bando ) is one consisting only of women J- ska band from Sakai, Japan.

History

The band's name literally means " We are a ska band ". " Ore " is usually an extremely masculine and casual way, "I " to say in Japanese, and the suffix " - tachi " is usually added when it should be emphasized for nouns that they are formulated in the plural.

Ore Ska Band was founded in 2003 when the members of the middle school and were still occurring in the local clubs. They produced their first album in 2005 Penpal themselves and were taken in 2006 by Sony Music under contract. At this time, all the members were still in high school.

The group has released two albums in Japan; in July 2006, " Ore " and in May 2007, " WAO ". In the U.S., the album was also released " Oreskaband " 2007. Ore Ska Band occurs both in the U.S. and in Japan. Two of her songs were used as Endings Japanese anime Naruto and Bleach.

Media attention gained the band by their appearance in a promotional clip of the popular snacks in Japan Pocky and the use of their song Pinocchio than fourteenth Ending Theme of the anime Naruto. In August 2006, the band performed at the Fuji Rock On Festival. In March 2007, the band members of the high school closed down, toured the U.S. and performed at Austin (Texas), Los Angeles and San Francisco. They played in July 2007 at Anime Expo in Long Beach ( California), on the Vans Warped Tour in Roseville (California ) and Portland. The band has played in the movie Lock and Roll Forever.
