Orkun Usak (2014)

Orkun Usak ( born November 5, 1980 in Istanbul) is a Turkish football goalkeeper.

Sporting career

Club football

Usak began his career with the youth team of Galatasaray, where he worked until the age of 19. His first transfer took place in 1999 and he went to the Istanbul club Beykozspor. Until the 2002/03 season Usak played for Beykozspor, Bakirköyspor and Üsküdar Anadolu. His first game in the Turkish Süper Lig he made in the 2002/03 season for the then first division Elazığspor. Despite his lack of experience as a professional footballer Orkun came at the end of the season to 15 games. 2003 left Orkun Usak Elazığspor and moved to MKE Ankaragucu. Until the winter break of the season 2006/ 07 Orkun worked there. During this time, Usak played 56 games. His new club called Kayseri Erciyesspor. National

Orkun Usak was nominated nine times for Turkey and made ​​his first and only international match in a friendly match against the Macedonian national team. He was nominated including the twice from Turkey coach Fatih Terim as a substitute goalkeeper for the European Championship qualifiers against Denmark and Ukraine in 2006.
