TTNet Beykoz

Beykozspor 1908 is a Turkish sports club based in the heart of Istanbul's Beykoz. Their home games wearing the yellow and black of the Beykoz Stadium. The club was a founding member of the highest Turkish league and played in the 1950s, 1960s and 1980s, a total of eight seasons in the Süper Lig in the Eternal table of the Süper Lig club is on the 40th place. Together with Izmirspor Beykozspor was partially the honor to play on 21 February 1959, the first batch of newly introduced and nationwide discharged highest division, today's Süper Lig.

History

The club was founded in 1908 and played for a long time in İstanbul Profesyonel Ligi.

In summer 1959, the club was a founding member of the newly introduced and discharged the nation's top division, today's Süper Lig, scoring eight years in the permanent members of the league. Subsequently, the club lost the connection to Fenerbahçe, Beşiktaş and Galatasaray. In the summer of 1971, rose in the second highest league, which today TFF 1 Lig off, but managed to immediately re-emergence. Until the early 1990s was Beykoz with short breaks permanent member of the TFF 1 Lig reinforced by the establishment of numerous Anatolian teams that increasingly strengthened regional, and the change in the district population lost the club in importance. After 1991, the club played until the summer of 2011 alternately third or viertklassig and increased in summer from the regional amateur league and said goodbye to the Turkish professional football.

In the 1990s, the club was bought by the Sümerbank Financial Group and was a long time Sümerbank Beykozspor.
