Inside systematics

The ornithopods share in the small Heterodontosauridae and Euornithopoda, both taxa are considered to be monophyletic. The Euornithopoda were divided into the Hypsilophodontidae and Iguanodontia. The Hypsilophodontidae are now considered paraphyletic. The known hadrosaur are a subset of Iguanodontia.
