Örnsberg metro station

Örnsberg is an aboveground station Stockholm subway. It is located in Aspudden district. The station is owned by the Röda linjen the Stockholm subway system operated. It is one of the more moderate frequented stations of the metro network. On a normal working day here rise to 3,000 commuters and around.

The station was taken on April 5, 1964 in operation, as the first section of Röda was inaugurated linjen between T- centralen and Örnsberg. Until 16 May 1965 she was the terminus of line T13, to this day, the extension was opened up to the station Sätra. The platforms are located above ground. The station is located between the stations Aspudden and Axel Berg. Stockholm Central Station is about 5.5 km away.
