The orotschische language is a Tungusic language spoken in the Amur region in the Far East of Russia. It is closely related to the Evenki language. The number of native speakers in 1995 estimated at 100 to 150, belonging to an ethnic group of about 900 people, the Orotschen. The language has no alphabet and no literature. The orotschische language is now severely threatened.
