Orsolya Tóth

Orsolya Tóth, also Orsi ( born November 20, 1981 in Békéscsaba ) is a Hungarian film actress.

Life

Orsolya Tóth completed her studies in acting at the Drama and Film School Budapest ( Színház - és Filmművészeti Egyetem ) in 2004 with a Master. In the time she had already begun to work with Kornel Mundruczó in its theater productions. My biggest success was the participation in the film Johanna, in which she played the title role. The rotated by Mundruczó movie was in Cannes 2005 in Un Certain Regard. With the spectacle musician Félix Lajkó she was in Mundruczós film Delta 2008 in the main program of Cannes. In 2009 she was awarded the Hungarian "Shooting Star" at the Berlinale.

Under the direction of Mundruczó they played so far in six productions with its co-director Viktoria Petrányi and András Nagy each into four, with Piroska Molnár, Miklós Székely and Péter Scherer in three. In János Szász ' adaptation of the novel The Notebook by Ágota Kristof, she received the role of the fictional character " harelip ".
