The language Oruma (ISO 639-3 is orr ) is a ijoide language of the Niger -Congo language family and is the language Okodia the language group of the Ijo languages.

In 1995, about 5,000 people were talking the language Oruma, in the Nigerian state of Bayelsa in the local government area Ogbia and in the cities Oruma and Ibelebiri. The number of speakers is decreasing, because the more prestigious due to the official status to English is generally accepted as the native language.
