The Osaka University of Education (大阪 教育 大学Japanese, Osaka Kyoiku daigaku, in short: Daikyōdai (大 教 大) ) is a public university in Japan. The main campus is located in Kashiwara in the prefecture of Osaka.
She is the only Japanese educational college, which has an evening course for teacher education.
History
The Osaka University of Education was founded in 1949 by the merger of two state normal schools. The two were the first Normal School Osaka (大阪 第一 师范学校, Osaka Dai -ichi shihan Gakko ) and the Second Normal School Osaka (大阪 第二 师范学校, Osaka Dai -ni shihan Gakko ).
First Normal School Osaka
The First Normal School was founded in 1874 as Osaka prefectural College of Education. 1901 she moved to the present Tennoji Campus. In 1908 she was in prefectural normal school Tennoji (大阪 府 天王寺 师范学校, Ōsaka -fu Tennoji shihan Gakko ) renamed. You and the Normal School for Girls ( in Hirano -ku, Osaka ) were assembled to state first normal school Osaka in 1943.
Second Normal School Osaka
The Second Normal School was Osaka (大阪 府 池田 师范学校, Ōsaka -fu Ikeda shihan Gakko ) founded in 1908 as a normal school prefectural Ikeda. In 1943, she was a state normal school without lessons for women. In 1944, the rate for women was opened ( in Tondabayashi ).
Osaka University of Education
The new university was first called College of Liberal Arts Osaka (大阪 学 芸 大学, Ōsaka Gakugei daigaku ). In 1966 she was renamed the College of Education, Osaka. In 1992, the new campus was opened Kashiwara, and the Ikeda- campus was closed (only the associated schools remain in Ikeda ).
