Ōsaka Tenman-gū

The Osaka Tenman- gū (Japanese大阪 天 満 宫, also Tenjin -san ) is a dedicated to the kami Tenjin Shinto shrine in the city of Kita district of Osaka City in Japan.

It was built in 949 on the orders of Murakami tennō, allegedly on the stretch of beach where Jimmu - tennō to have landed. Tenjin Matsuri
