Óscar González (racing driver)

Óscar Mario González ( born November 10, 1923 in Montevideo, † November 5, 2006 ) was a racing driver from Uruguay.

Óscar González was the motorsport experts completely unknown when he won the Grand Prix of Argentina disputed 1956. He took just over halfway through the race the Maserati A6GCM by his compatriot Alberto Uria. González drove uniform but also extremely slow laps around the course and tried not to obstruct the driver tip, and succeeded him. In the end, the duo had 10 laps behind the winner Juan Manuel Fangio and Luigi Musso and was considered in the goal as sixth.
